Shinigami Guide Empty Shinigami Guide

Post by Raichi45 Fri Jun 06, 2014 6:45 pm

When you first make your character first thing your gonna do is train to level 20 or higher. Next, get killed by an Npc to become a soul. You can also be soul buried by another shinigami player(which can actually give you a stat boost) turning you into a soul. Once in soul society by either going through Urahara's basement or via soul burial. Your gonna wanna find the Shinigami Teacher Npc you can find it using the map on the hub.

When you speak to the Teacher you will have to fight the Shinigami Admin Npc (Don't worry its super weak xD). Once you beat it You'll become a full shinigami and will be given choices of what squad you want to be in, what colors you want your zanpakuto sheath to have, and what type of skill you want to specialize in.

Those skills are Kido, Hakuda, Hoho, and Zanjutsu
Kido
Can obtained by the Hado and Bakudo Npc's they are directly next to the Shinigami Teacher, so it shouldn't be too hard to find them. tongue
The skills you can get for example are Soukatsui, Rikijoukouro, Black Coffin, and Senju Koten Taiho.
There are also some hidden kido you can get from other npcs if you have the reqs. The max kido shinigami can get is 7, but you want have more you can join the Kido Corps and be able to learn 14 kido and 21 if you manage to become the Corps Leader. Keep in mind you can't become a captain of the Gotei 13 if you join it.

Hakuda
Is hand to hand combat and thanks to the sheath feature in the game you switch from your sword to hands easily.
When you first start out with Hakuda you'll notice you don't have any skills. Well you gotta work them simply by fighting hand to hand or hitting npc's  to gain your skills. Here's what you can get:
Ikkotsu
Sokotsu
Oni Dekopin
Sandobaggu Bito

Hoho
Your Shunpo becomes faster, and thats basically it. But if you join the Omitsukido your shunpo will get better the more you use it. Eventually you'll be able to make afterimage clones like Soi Fon and use Senka like Byakuya  Very Happy

And finally, Zanjutsu
Zanjutsu is the fighting style for zanpakuto. This is just like Hakuda when it comes to learning your skills only you must use your zan and it must be in its BASE form! With exception if your zanpakuto maintains a sword like form in shikai. The skills you can learn are :
Suikawari
Agitowari
Hitosumei: Nadegiri
Senmaioroshi

Once you reach level 250 you can choose a second skill to specialize in.

Zanpakuto
Can't be a shinigami without your handy dandy sword now can ya? xD
Once you've become a shinigami you'll have your zanpakuto in your inventory, to gain your shikai is very simple.
You can fight npcs or other players or be near death to obtain it.
Once you are over level 100 you can go any Shinigami Captain Npc and talk to them to get bankai.
The type of zanpakuto you get is completely random so if you don't like the zan you get here's a pro tip.
* When training when you first make your character you can focus on a certain stat to narrow down what type of zan you want or close to it. For example, train attack you could an attack zan like Komamura. Train Rei and get Rukia and train Def and get Mayuri.
For more info on zanpakuto go to the help guide in the commands tab in game.

Squads
If you read the Squad Guide our friend Origami made, then you have a good idea of what they do. But if you become a captain or lieutenant the boost is much much more effective. The level req is 350 for captain and lieutenant is chosen by their captain. So train as fast as you can to get the captain spot you want! But course you can always challenge a captain as well if you feel up to it. xD

Omitsukido and Kido Corps
These are the two organzations seperate from the Gotei 13, to join these you must fight the leader Npcs to be able to join.
These npcs are pretty tough and it's preferred that your over level 350 unless you have a powerful zan to aid you in battle.
One important thing to know is that joining one is the same as abandoning your squad so you will lose your boost for the perks of joining the Omitsukido or Kido Corps. On the up side you can become the Leader of either one and req is the same as becoming captain.

As the mainstream race of the game its a great race to start off with and is constantly being updated.
Happy Gaming!  Very Happy
